....we are live! Who knew designing and executing a blog took such a long time? A big, huge shout out to my husband who brought my vision to life. This is the direction I gave him: clean, easy to navigate, and welcoming. Not a lot to work with, but he went above and beyond and I am so pleased with what he created!

For years and years I blogged at Living the High Life and loved sharing my day-to-day with readers and made many friends through that blog. I love that space but it was just time for a change. A fresh start. Since about April, I've been brainstorming content for Hello, High and talking [and talking and talking] Aaron's ear off about it, so I'm so happy to finally be able to put pen to paper [or fingers to keyboard] and get going.

The last couple of years I've found so much inspiration in life + style blogs! I love blogs with posts about personal style and those that share recipes and diy projects. So, that's what I'm hoping to bring to this blog. Lots of interesting and fun content that will hopefully inspire you!

A little over a year ago we had the interior of our house painted. Slowly but surely we've been adding things back to the walls and bringing in new decor and updating lots of old furniture. When before I found home decorating and design a little overwhelming and intimidating, I am really learning to love it! So you will see lots of our home and diy projects I'm doing around the house. I have a list a mile long of stuff that we need to do [paint dresser, paint cabinets, find Harry a dresser, make a bunting for Elle's room, find new lamps for master, finish desk, recover chairs in kitchen, and so on and so forth].

If you follow me on Instagram, you know sewing is a huge part of my life. I absolutely love creating with my sewing machine and am so grateful that so many people out there love what I do and keep me busy. Its such a huge blessing to my family. I'm always on the hunt for patterns [I don't draft my own] and fabrics and I want to share it all with you because there is just so much out there to be made!

I also plan on posting about personal style [mine and my kiddos], adventures around our town, recipes and meal planning. I have high hopes for this space. I think its going to be a lot of fun! Thank you so much for stopping by! Leave me a line before you!

  1. Yay got to it through blogspot! This is so fun, can't wait to see all your projects and style stuff! (No idea why it has my old old blog name) and I don't know how to change it:/
