It's TWENTY FIFTEEN y'all. Happy N E W Year! Its going to be a great year. I can feel it in my bones.

I can't remember the last year I didn't prepare or eat black eyed peas on New Year's Day. This year was no exception.


It was a busy afternoon in the kitchen: hoppin' john, collards, and loaded cornbread. All from The Pioneer Woman's A Year of Holidays cookbook. And it was all DELICIOUS! I am looking forward to leftovers tonight.
